Every 19 days Baha’i communities all over the globe get together for an event called the Nineteen Day Feast. The Feast generally consists of collective worship, consultation and socializing – but each of those elements can take any of a number of forms depending on the culture and style of the community.
The social portion at the last Feast in the idyllic hill station of Panchgani, India was opened by a magic show starring a boy named Parmesh and is friends – and I was there to capture it and boil it down later. It was my first Feast here in Panchgani since I last lived here 14 years ago – I just moved back here to work with an institute called the Baha’i Academy for the next few months.
Share it if you like it. And for added fun – tell us which of Parmesh’s tricks did you like the most?
